Man, what a blast!
Laura Schachner was the bomb that day, and still performs with several symphonic and stage groups somewhere in the wilds of PA.
One of the hot shots she beat that day was Wayne Downey. He told me recently that every time the Blue Devils are in PA, she stops by just so he doesn't forget.
