Historical Drum Corps Publications
A permanent home to share my family collection of Drum Corps publications. My Mom started this collection in the 40s. This is my labor of love. I hope you all enjoy these articles / scores / pictures... as much as we have over the decades. History must be preserved. This is my lil corner / contribution to the drum corps community (online). A place for all of us to live, relive, learn, love and share in our passionate hobby. Please feel free to add comments, share your experiences, stories, etc.

I had the privilege of marching with this outstanding corps from May 1956 (it's beginning) to October 1962. It developed into a Dream contest competitor and having a National Championship Drum Quartet. It's version of "Hello Dolly" went down as one of the very best in drum and bugle corps activity.
My wife Etty Blackely marched with Vasella at about the same time you did
Nancy were you a member of the Corps when it became the Sons of Italy Musketeers? If so do you remember the names of any other members.
Nancy, I would appreciate any info that you can provide re the Muskeeters. After the Post Disbanded the Sons of Italy became their sponsor. Since OSIA will be celebrating its 100 anniversary next year I would like to feature the Corps
Hi,
I marched with the Musketeer color guard from 1964 through 1966.
It was the Sons of Italy, Vasella Musketeers at that time.
I believe after the winter guard season of 1966, the corp disbanded. The war had drafted so many of our guys.
Those were some of the happiest times in my life. It was my Animal House experience. If anyone has any info about the corp, please email me at momofeagles@gmail.com. The last I saw of anyone was at a reunion in 1985 in NJ.
Thanks,
Peg Cammann
