The Targets Drum & Bugle Corps, of Springfield, Massachusetts, has accepted an invitation to be one of the Exhibition Corps, at the 2nd Annual Convention & Championship Meet of the great Northeastern Circuit of Sr. Drum & Bugle Corps, to be held on Sunday, September 1st, 1963, at Riverside Park, Agawam, Massachusetts.

The Targets, a fast-moving Junior Corps from the Western part of Massachusetts, have been steadily on the upward climb and are winning in many Corps circles. The Corps is the proud owner of brand new uniforms this season; along with their new music and show, they are sure to be a big hit at this show of shows, the Northeastern Championship.

This announcement has just been received from the office of the Convention Chairman, William "DUKE" Ducharme, who was happy to include the TARGETS in the long list of top junior exhibitions presented at the Championship each year.

The policy of the Northeastern is to feature one or two juniors Corps as exhibitions, new and different Corps each year. Only the most promising and improved Corps are considered by the Committee.

The manager of the TARGETS, Mr. Richard E. Braese, was more than
pleased with this invitation to appear on the same field with some of the nation's top senior Corps.
