Historical Drum Corps Publications
A permanent home to share my family collection of Drum Corps publications. My Mom started this collection in the 40s. This is my labor of love. I hope you all enjoy these articles / scores / pictures... as much as we have over the decades. History must be preserved. This is my lil corner / contribution to the drum corps community (online). A place for all of us to live, relive, learn, love and share in our passionate hobby. Please feel free to add comments, share your experiences, stories, etc.

I remember seeing this picture as a child. It was hanging either somewhere at St Mary's or in the Boy Scout building that was shared with the VFW. I belonged to The Shoreliners a class c D&B corp that was also affiliated with St Mary's. Together we went to Nationals at Roosevelt Stadium in NJ where we did an exhibition and helped the Judges. We shared a motel with The Boston Crusaders corp who played a concert for us one evening. I remember they seemed so old yet still younger than the old guys in the top corps such as the Starliners that eventually won the competition. This was all in the mid sixties when I was still a preteen. A few years later I was in the Golden Rays corp in Stoughton Ma. They were a top class c team that eventually went to class A. The picture brought it all back again. I was a soprano bugler for both yet I eventually became a drummer for the UMass marching band in Amherst Ma. in 1970.
Slight errors sorry. We were at The World Open together and the main winner was the NY Skyliners. Jim
